Seaway Beach House Looe Beach

The location of the property was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. Being situated right next to the beach provided easy access to the seafront, beautiful views, and the convenience of being able to enjoy coastal walks and beach activities without needing to travel. The surrounding area was peaceful and ideally located for exploring the local attractions. Unfortunately, while the location itself was outstanding, the condition and cleanliness of the property did not meet the standard we expected.

Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the property that I was unhappy with. The cleanliness was below an acceptable standard, with pet hair found on the beds and throughout the property and rat droppings. While I appreciate that this is a pet-friendly home, guests should still expect the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned between stays. There were also inadequate rubbish disposal facilities, which meant we were forced to store black bags of rubbish in the garden for the duration of our stay. I consider this a serious health and safety concern, particularly during warmer weather when it can attract pests and create unpleasant odours. The front door was not secure, water leaked from the bathroom into the kitchen every time the shower was on. In addition, the overall condition of the property did not reflect the standard advertised, and this significantly impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the holiday. Given the issues experienced, I was left feeling very disappointed with the accommodation despite its excellent location next to the beach.

Location is amazing, couldn't be closer to the beach or the town. Great host very helpful. Made the break really easy with lots of information about the house and area before we got there which was great. House was clean and smelt fresh (this is a big one for us!)

Was a little awkward to unload the car as street narrow as there is no parking for you to leave car but we know this before we went

Excellent location, close to beach and all the amenities. Very dog friendly.

Only one bathroom and toilet during the time we stayed there, the other bathroom facilities were being refurbished.

Property was in an excellent location. Communication with owner was outstanding. House was perfect for our needs with all facilities we needed.

We absolutely loved the whole experience, from start to finish it was amazing! The house was lovely, very spacious and decorated very well. Location was brilliant, close to everything!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like and hope to be back soon!!
