Royal Bay Villa and Apartment

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem gemütlichen Apartment für 2 Personen. Die Unterkunft war super gepflegt, hat eine gute und voll ausgestattete Küche an die eine eine kleine gemütliche Holzterrasse angeschlossen ist. Die Lage ist fantastisch, nur ein paar Schritte von einer der schönsten Strände Mahes entfernt. Die Straße hörte man aufgrund der Hanglage überhaupt nicht. Parken kann man auf dem Grundstück. Der Standort eignet sich gut um und die Insel zu erkunden, Restaurants, Cafes und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig oder gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Sahra und Barry sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und haben uns tolle Tipps für die Insel gegeben. Wir durften am Abreisetag noch etwas länger als der übliche Checkout bleiben und konnten so ganz entspannt packen.Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Absolute Empfehlung!

Beautiful cute apartment with absolutely everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Coffee tea and some milk were there upon arrival. The apartment is by the side of the villa and you also have use of the villa pool area and can enjoy the tropical garden and tree house. A lovely quiet atmosphere for people who want to relax. Owner is super helpful and gave suggestions of places to visit. I particularly chose this place as it in on the bus route so there is no need for a car. I was able to visit Victoria, the Botanical garden and the rum factory by catching the local bus. It is walking distance to a number of shops, a couple of take aways, a bank, money exchange and restaurants. The lovely beach is about a 3 minute walk away and was good for swimming throughout the whole day. Just one thing to keep in mind…..the apartment has 2 or 3 steps in it and the walk to the beach/ main road/shops etc is up/down a short but very steep hill. If you are physically active then there is no problem.

Great accommodation in a fantastic location, ideal for touring Mahe. When we needed anything Barry was available to assist. We highly recommend a stay here.

Sarah and Bernie were very kind hosts, they fullfilled all our wishes regarding rentacar. The property is equipped with everything you need. Beach is near and super. Also fish market Is less than 10 min. At the property is barbecue so we ate fresh fish every evening. We spent wonderful days on this location.

Host Barry (owner) offers and provides a fine home for your stay in the seychelles. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the home and the facilities from the welcome to the small welcome pack, outside bbq & kitchen area, everything exceeded my expectation. We were 6 adults and the villa was a home away from home. I can highly recommend this property.

Amazing place.The best beach on Mahe island. Good village. Shops, market, cafe at 5 min walk. You can explore all island by bus. Good location for that. Hospitable housekeepers. Barry & Sarah is the best people on Seychelles 🤗

Breakfast was not supposed to be included but lovely fresh fruit was delivered in the morning. Location was great - beach at the end of the read and 5 mins walk to shops. Milk and tea/coffee was provided on arrival - nice touch.

The owners are very friendly and very helpful. The house is very spacious. It was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and equipment one could possibly need. Kids loved the pool and the tortoises. This house is great for families with children.

The facilities are excellent. Kitchen and garden/pool has everything you need. Water machine (no need to carry bottles from store) normal coffee maker + several capsule machines (just everything you could possibly need). There are pool toys if you have kids with you. And a wonderful daybed on the terrace where is was lovely to read and take naps. Owners of the house where awesome. Very helpful and friendly. They live in the same building but totally separate so they won't bother you if you don't want them to, but are right there is you have any questions or needs. They picked fresh fruits from their garden for us everyday. And opened coconut for us as we did not dare to try it our selves :D Overall just perfect. Wish I was still there:)

Only thing I can think of was the bed, that it was 160cm wide. At home I have 180cm and I really like to have my space when I sleep. But that's really not a complain just personal taste question. Another thing was that the bedroom was not really dark (normal curtains only) so you might wake up with the sun (if you are sensitive to light) but that was actually quite nice. So really no negative feedback.
