The house is absolutely wonderful. We loved the eclectic and unique style and very high quality of furniture and utilities. You can see that a lot of thought, love and money went into creating these apartments that are located in a former church. I loved the little herb garden that is available for use so you can pick fresh sage and oregano among others for your cooking. I am very picky with beds (I like them on the softer side) and I awoke the first time in weeks without a backache and after an uninterrupted sleep. We were there during storm Floris and were happy how well the heating worked. I believe you can even make a wooden fire in the oven in the living room. Be prepared to be wowed by the house and the stunning scenery at the same time.

We really cannot say anything that we did not like. The location might not be for everyone as it was very far up north on Skye but this is exactly what we loved about it. The infrastructure around the house was even better than we expected with a wonderful pub with high quality seafood, a little supermarket and a cafe just 5-10 min away.

Very cool building, beautiful location, and had all the amenities we were hoping for. Grace was a great host and offered plenty of wonderful suggestions on what to see and do in the area. Really enjoyed our stay

Pricey in comparison with other properties in the area, we booked this largely because cheaper options were already full.

Stunning location. Old church converted into two apartments. Beautifully landscaped garden. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable mattresses.

The interior is very unusual. An artistic and eccentric design can be inspiring in itself, but for us, this one contained too many references to witchcraft, twisted spirits, vampires, and urns. Just too many symbols that created an uncomfortable atmosphere. We will never return here.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the rental unit. We had a fantastic dinner at the local pub as suggested by the hostess. The location was great for exploring the Isle of Skye.

The rude people in the other apartment. They had taken up too much space in tn the parking area. The hostess was very helpful in speaking with them

The most jaw-dropping place I've ever rented. Huge living room with large comfy couch and 80(?) inch TV for relaxation after long days of walking. Large, well-equipped kitchen. One large bed room and one enormous bed room. Usually large and comfortable beds. All beautifully decorated in a mix of classic and bohemian style. Stein Inn (very nice pub) and Loch Bay (Michelin star restaurant) in walking distance (but a bit of a walk; almost 4 km). The host is very responsive and friendly (not that we had any issues, but we had some questions before arriving).

Well, it's not cheap.

Beautiful location on the Isle of Skye near quaint town of Stein. Unique property as a former church and fun funky eclectic decor added lots of fun and quirkiness to the space which we loved!! Kitchen very well stocked with great appliances and such. Comfortable living room for reading and movie watching after a busy day traveling and sightseeing around the island. Bedrooms extremely comfortable with great linens and towels. Nice outdoor spaces too. Would definitely rent again!!

Windows on first floor at see quite high as a former church so views harder to see.

Thomas Telford provided everything we needed and more. The host was amazing and the location with a sea view couldn't have been better. We will definitely book again.
