Superbe appartement avec chambre, piscine et parking privé

The local staff and residents were helpful and kind tl:dr; the house is remote and isolated but not private, it was dank & dirty when I arrived and the pool was slimy, the owner will blame and insult you if you report any issue even if it clearly his fault (as mentioned in other reviews). you can find better place in pescadero or todos.

When I arrive the Apartment was musty smelling and dirty/dusty, the pool was slimy/dirty, none of the appliances were plugged in. For the 1st time in 20 years traveling in México the host did not provide even a drop of drinking water, reflecting his hospitality. Despite an otherwise detailed check-in letter, there was no information about wifi. It was a drag to have to clean and set up the apartment myself. I could live without a pool, but I needed the internet for work so I messaged the host on whatsapp asking for the wifi details. After an hour I tried the other contact methods, after another hour I called booking.com customer service. they were able to contact the owner because after 2+ hours he finally replied to my messages and gave me the wifi login. then he insulted me for having the nerve to ask, another 1st in my travels. As I continued to message with the owner he was consistently passive aggressive and insulting. Lying about easily proven facts (like the missing wifi info in check-in letter), giving nonsense answers to basic questions forcing me to ask them several times, and always including an emoji not so subtly indicating giving someone the finger. It was an unpleasant and unnerving conversation, I have never gotten in a ‘fight’ with a hotel owner and I felt if he was willing to lie so easily he might be capable of causing harm in other ways. It was creepy. ultimately I left after less than 24 hours, despite potentially loosing all the money I paid. the vibes are just way off. to be fair the next morning a man did come to clean the pool. If you need a remote isolated place (which several strangers wandering about), don’t care too much about cleanliness or if you can use the pool, and enjoy being insulted by strangers this is the place for you, otherwise I assure you there are nicer options nearby at a similar price.

Great place, just a little cold! Maybe a heater/ carpet would be great! Ok once in bed with lots of blankets. Internet wasn’t that fast at times - (I needed to do a video interview) but otherwise all was good! Nice and spacious and great value! Pool is nice and generally calm fields all around.

Just the heating and the room was dusty / had a cement smell. Also didn’t have hot water and when I told the owner he suggested I had changed a setting and burnt the upstairs guests as a result, (I didn’t adjust anything). He apologised after but it was a bit of a weird reaction. Overall nothing major - it was clean and great value!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le lieu est paisible, dans un cadre magnifique proche de la mer. L'appartement est propre et bien équipé, on s'y sent comme chez soi !
