The Tired Travelers Cozy Home

The house was extremely cozy/conveniently located! The beds were comfortable/the master bed/bath was absolutely stunning! The home was very clean and had snacks/drinks prepared for us. We hope to stay again next year!

This is an excellent place to stay. The house was so clean and pretty. The host had snacks and drinks. Comfortable beds, Tv's in all the rooms. Right by 65. I highly recommend:)

During my recent stay at this wonderful place, the owners went out of their way to ensure a warm and welcoming experience, making our stay incredibly enjoyable. One of the highlights was their thoughtful accommodation for our puppy, as they set up a crate on-site, sparing us the trouble of bringing our own. The property itself felt refreshingly new, boasting modern amenities that contributed to the overall comfort of the stay. Its convenient location near Rickwood Caverns, a treasured childhood memory, added a touch of nostalgia and provided an excellent opportunity for family bonding. I highly recommend taking the kids on the guided tour... which they'll love... even after they find out they can't just run, climb and explore as they would prefer. To continue the nostalgia theme, whether intended or not – grab some Top Hat BBQ, the perfect way to complement a relaxed jaunt in the beautiful hills, and then come back to CRT televisions (this is NOT a knock) and an impressive library of DVDs. Yes, there are flat screens and even a Nintendos (my daughter couldn't put the Wii U down, despite there being a Switch).

If I must find something to complain about... hmmm... the only drawback I encountered was the relatively slow internet speed, which posed a minor inconvenience during a work emergency. Using my phone as a hotspot was faster. However, I would note this issue is most likely due to the remote location rather than any fault of the owners. Lastly, a friendly piece of advice for departing guests: definitely turn around before leaving the driveway, and always look right - and then look right again. Everyone coming from that direction seems to be late for something.

Everything. If I could sum up the house and hosts I would sum it up with the word thoughtful. The whole experience was very thoughtful. Everything was labeled nicely. There were plenty of videos to watch or games to play. The house was clean. You could tell they put a lot of thought and care into making the house feel comfortable and us feel welcome and cared for.
