USIt was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed!
GBThe house is small but pretty and well located; parking on the street outside. The kitchen is well provided, with fridge freezer, gas hob, electric ovens and a microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine (not used}. Hi-fi equipment in the dining room, with a good selection of classic rock and jazz CDs. TV in the sitting room, with a popular range of DVDs. Also an interesting selection of books including local guides. The Wi-fi was satisfactory. There are take-aways in the village and a Co-op that is open late. The garden is a good place to relax.
The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, might be a problem for some (we are both retirement age, but negociated them safely). It would be nice to have a horizontal surface (eg small table) in the bathroom. The Wi-fi passoword in the manual is incorrect (final letter should be lower case, as per the label on the modem). The armchair and sofa in the sitting room are not as comfortable as they look. We were a bit put off by the suggestion that we could pay extra cash to arrive early or leave late. Despite all that we enjoyed our stay.
GBA comfortable and well equipped cottage with a lovely back garden. Some nice additional features such as a hammock for the garden.
The second bedroom would benefit from a black out blind for the window.
