Butterwell, 1 bed retreat with stunning views

Lovely location, very cosy cottage all clean and well maintained. Beautiful courtyard and surroundings, on acres of countryside land with stunning views. Bude centre only a 20 minute drive away and there is a local corner shop for essentials.

Nothing we didn’t really like only one little niggle, there was no can opener and another frying pan would’ve been ideal. Also the coffee machine only sporadically worked.

Waking up to builders at 7 am till 7 pm drilling and banging nails in cement mixers etc like being at work for my other half loud music and swearing by the builders and when spoke to owners there was no offer of compensation or suggestions to make it better which ruined 3 days off the holiday otherwise would of been peaceful location

Great value for money. The place is massive, too and overlooks a wonderful view of rolling hills and sheep! The place has everything you need! They even provided Cornish tea and milk. The owners/managers were nice and friendly. They also gave excellent recommendations for places to visit.

maybe update/clean the couch? but not a big deal
