Three friends on tour - we loved this apartment. It is set on the hill just outside of the main part of La Spezia and has amazing views, particularly at dawn and sunset. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. There were local bus stops which were convenient to use (but find out how to buy tickets if you are non-Italian speaking) and some good local shops for food provisions and even a dress shop. It is a residential area and we found the locals to be helpful and friendly. Communication from Terre Marine was good and it was easy to pick up the keys. It was convenient to get into La Spezia and we travelled to Portovenere and Cinque Terra from La Spezia as a base. La Spezia itself is impressive. This is definitely an apartment we would go back to.

There could be more seating in the main living area (but it was fine for three). Small leakage problem with the air conditioning units but we put a container underneath.

Clean light flat

1) Rather impersonal bureaucratic entry process. No human contact (physically or on the phone) 2) Not a bit of welcoming food, no real coffee or local product, just water in the fridge 3) aircon in the main bedroom was leaking and could not be used. Owners were told so and decided to ask us what exactly was wrong!!!. We are not technicians and could only switch it off to go to sleep.
