The situation of the cottage was great, very peaceful. Room sizes were great, but would have liked a hairdryer plug closer to the mirror. Everywhere was very clean. Views from the cottage are lovely. I liked the hosts taste in furnishings but felt it needed a little more of a ‘cosy’feel, perhaps rearranging the settees so that they weren’t right against the walls. Dishwasher was fab, plenty big enough for two with an appropriate amount of cutlery, crockery and glasses. We are grateful that the hosts responded effectively and quickly to our requests to supply missing necessities.

The lighting in the lounge isn’t ‘cosy’. It’s either too bright or too dark. Would suggest a standard light for reading. Coat hooks in the porch would be a great addition. The lack of a place to sit and dry your hair in front of a mirror in the bedroom.The room was plenty big enough to allow for this. Felt that the hosts communication prior to the visit was minimal and that the check in time was not flexible.

Beautiful, clean, well equipped cottage that had everything needed for a short break. Lovely bedroom, warm and cosy throughout, large kitchen and enclosed garden for the dog. Perfect.

immaculate cottage, clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated. It had everything one needs and we just loved it, we wished we'd been staying longer it was so nice.

Perfect in every way for a relaxing time with our dogs, highly recommended
