Costa d'Oiro Ambiance Village

This is a fantastic hotel. About a five minute walk to the beach, one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had (including Portuguese specialties), excellent facilities, comfortable room & above all, a fabulous, welcoming staff!

Superbe endroit, très bien localisé. Proche de la plage et des endroits où marcher. Un peu de pentes. Le déjeuner était excellent!

Ligt 20 minuten lopen van het centrum, winkels en restaurants.

Sehr nette Atmosphäre, die durch die getrennten Einzelhäuser in denen die Zimmer verteilt sind nicht wie ein Hotel wirkt. Mit den verteilten Pools und Fitness Bereichen verteilen sich die Gäste in einem Wohngebiet. Sehr schön das Frühstücksbüffet, mit lokalen, frischen und warmen Speisen. Hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Rund um den Pool, die Terrasse als auch im Innenraum wird man verwöhnt. Die Lage ermöglicht einen durch einen kurzen Fußmarsch den Zugang zur Altstadt mit Restaurants aller Geschmacksrichtungen sowie Freizeitaktivitäten. Genauso schnell sind Strände und Küstenwanderwege zu erreichen. Die klimatisierten Zimmer sind mit WLAN, Terrasse/Balkon versehen. Snacks und Abendessen können im Restaurant eingenommen werden.

Leider wohnen in der Nachbarschaft mehrere Hunde, die fast ohne Pause, auch die Nacht über, gebellt haben!

The breakfast included with our room was wonderful and actually necessary since the hotel wasn’t near other restaurants. (Except one local pub which was good for Lunch ). The hotel was near the boardwalk trails, which was nice but the walk to town took about 15 minutes but with hills. A Bolt ride was generally 4-5€. Our room with the kitchenette was very spacious and we loved the big, private terrace. Each complex had its own pool.

The pool was actually not very warm, which we found surprising since it had all summer to warm up. A solar cover would help and be very appreciated. It would also be nice If the had a hotel shuttle service to take you to town that would be excellent. They seem to have the van already.
