Erg Chebbi Desert Luxury Camp

Staying at a camp in Erg Chebbi is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived at the golden dunes near Merzouga, everything felt surreal. The silence of the Sahara, the warm welcome with mint tea, and the endless views of sand dunes create a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. The tents are beautifully designed—comfortable beds, private bathrooms (in luxury options), and traditional Moroccan décor that blends perfectly with the desert surroundings. At sunset, the camel ride across the dunes is simply breathtaking. Watching the sun melt into the sand is something words can’t fully describe. Dinner under the stars is another highlight. Delicious Moroccan dishes, fresh ingredients, and traditional music around the campfire make the evening magical. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to make your stay special. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes is absolutely worth it. The colors of the sand change every minute—it’s pure magic. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone seeking an authentic yet comfortable Sahara desert adventure.

O acampamento era maravilhoso e eu o escolhi por que na descricao do mesmo informava que havia aquecimento. Reservei dois quartos e tive que pagar no alojamento 50 euros parea poder ligar o aquecimento (25 euros por quarto). Nao concordei com a cobranca mas tive que pagar para nao passar frio.

Beautiful space, comfortable beds, lovely furnishings that blend with the environment.

Side activities were ridiculously priced; so we chose to do our extra desert activities with another group before we checked in. Also wish that dinner time was a set time; we didnt have a heads up it would be so late and waited a while.

Amazing experience in the Sahara desert! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at erg Chebbi…the staff, the food, the luxury tents were all better than I could have expected. I was hesitant to spend such special days in the middle of the Sahara…but Erg Chebbi made it magical. The tents were also warm and comfortable in the cold winter desert. Sunset camel rides, Quads & sand boarding were iconic. They also served us a special lunch on Christmas Day with the dunes making an exceptional backdrop.

We had an issue with one heater on one night and they were not able to get it working, but we still managed to be comfortable enough with all the warm cozy blankets.

Exercise caution when making reservations at this establishment, as their reputation may not align with their actual practices. Customer satisfaction appears not to be a priority, which is disappointing.

A fantastic camp right in the dunes. Nothing fancy but clean, spacious tents, good food and friendly staff. Perfect for a family stay for a couple of nights, if you're not bothered by luxury.

Die Anlage entspricht nicht den vorgegebenen Angaben. Nicht 5Sterne wert. Sehr heisse Zelte, Deckenventilator wäre zu empfehlen.
