Everything was beautiful

The Food Services in the Hotel are excellent. The lobby and small business establishment therein were lovely. The location is excellent. Everyone knows it and where it is located. We needed directions often. The staff were helpful and nice. The pool and deck area were great, not crowded. The beds and bedding were spectacular!!

Communication was weird, not with the host but the hotel, there was a planned power outage, and we were not informed because the room is not owned by the hotel. So in the middle of blow drying my hair one morning the power went out. We were actually told it was the host's responsibility to tell us, even though notes were put under other guests doors by the hotel staff but not ours. What??? Why??? The room could use an update but the beds were great.

Cool, Dark, and Quiet. Exactly the type of room we wanted after busy days out at the Mall or Beach. This is the perfect location (Beautiful secluded Ala Moana Beach right across the road with amazing snorkeling). Also connected to the Ala Moana Mall, so my teenager dragged us there each day. Super Quiet room (the Airline Staff are your neighbours from what I noticed) and a quiet place to unwind.

The Booking process was a nightmare. Didn't know if you were booked (through Booking.com) until the property messaged you - then you are left trying to personally get them 50% beforehand then they were badgering me on my way to the property for the rest. I had better things to do at the airport than deal with that - and they could have done it days in advance or better yet at the front desk like they told me to do. They then couldn't find payment and Booking.com was getting after me. There needs to be a central payment place so you aren't getting paypal payments to random people. You need a hairdryer and proper pillows (we had to buy some because most are 2 cushions stuck in a pillowcase). My 9 year old found sleeping medication under the bed - so a better go at cleaning would be a plus.
