Hôtel La Grange Aux Marmottes

Excellent small family hotel! Don’t look anywhere else! Come here. We enjoyed 5 amazing days in the French Pyrenees and this hotel was the base of several trails . The location is perfect! The staff is perfect, views from the window is amazing, breakfast is great, and dinners were excellent for all the five days. So in summary: PERFECT 👍

Amazing location in the snow capped Pyrenees mountains. It was situated in a magical tinny Spanish village made of stone that escorts you back into a much older world of villagers and sheep hurters. The Inn had a marvelous restaurant with an accomplished chef offering breakfast and dinner that they willingly tailor to you likes and dislikes and then there’s their wine list not to mention the friendliest, efficient, staff who made the meal seem effortless. The amazing poolside views of the Pyrenees as you are basking in the sun is right out of a travel magazining.

We spent one night at this hotel and both found it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in large or small anywhere in the world. Truly exceptional. The service is top class. The restaurant was friendly and served excellent food. The room was beautifully appointed and completely clean. The staff were both efficient and friendly and found out within minutes whether the nearby road over the Col de Tourmalet was open when we had failed to find the information ourselves.

The only thing I did not like was that I couldn't find anything negative to say! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the high Pyrenees.

This place is special. It's absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant is amazing. Super comfortable rooms and flowers everywhere throughout the property. It was magical! Everyone on the staff was polite and helpful. Highly recommended.
