Spacious New Town Garden Flat

A great apartment. We stayed there with five people and had plenty of space and even a small garden. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The location is prime; you can walk to the old town or take a short bus ride.

Spacious, clean and well equipped apartment, which was located within a 15 minutes walk of the city centre. Two supermarkets, within a five minute walk, were useful too. Paid parking available on road outside during day and free overnight

The property is spacious, in a great location and has a nice outdoor space available to use. Communication with the owner is good. Check in is easy by using the key safe at the front door.

The property was not clean - there were used towels left from previous guests, all the towels provided were still wet/damp, there were empty beer cans from previous guests left in the garden, under the sink there was a basin with a dirty sponge (chat gpt advised its beetle larvae on it) and these black specks were also found on the kitchen roll and when wiping down worktops. The property requires some maintenance - the en-suite shower doesn’t drain very well so you end up standing in a pool of water. There’s also no lock on this door and part of the glazing is not frosted, so lack of privacy when using this bathroom. Only one bathroom had a bath mat provided. One of the beds in the twin bedroom has a mattress topper or a slim mattress on top of a single mattress but no mattress protector in use and the sheet was only put over the topper - the use of mattress protectors would be much more hygienic. Also the bathrooms both have kids hand wash - as a group of adults we didn’t really appreciate the blue bubblegum smell, something more neutral would be better! I did speak with the owner who sent his cleaner round with some new cleaning sponges and cloths which was appreciated. With a bit of TLC this property could be really great!

The location, space of the apartment, all the facilities and a garden. My only recommendation is to have bars in the 2 big bedrooms to be able to sleep with the windows open. I did anyway and tight down the shutters.

The location was fantastic and as we were there over the weekend, parking was free and easy close by. Multiple bathrooms/showers were helpful with our family.

The location was perfect. We could walk to many things and were close to public transportation. The apartment was spacious, sunny and comfortable.
