Very central location, just a short walk to the beach. The apartment is well laid-out and furnished. Good communication from the host.

The central location also means that it's noisy into the night. Musty smell in the building, probably OK for most, but wouldn't recommend to people with breathing conditions.

Beautiful, spacious apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Shops cafes, seafront on doorstep.

Lots of stairs. Hard work with big suitcases.

we booked this as I was attending the Eastbourne Armed Forces Event. I loved the location right near the beach in the town, with restaurants, and cafes all around us. They all offered eat-in and take-away which was great as we had our little dog with us. The flat was lovely

It wasn't easy to get into partly my fault. I never checked for messages before leaving home. Once I arrived I had to message the owner to say I did not have a code to the lockbox who told me to check my emails, and I then found I couldn't access my emails so messaged the owner back and finally got codes by ringing booking.com and answering lots of questions. I then had a text message from the owner with the code in, No idea why this couldn't be sent when I first messaged the owner. I think information like this should be sent via text message an hour before book in not by email. The parking is not good ok if you park your car and leave it, we found people double parking waiting to take your parking space on returning we had to keep parking in over roads and then move the car late at night to be able to park outside

The apartment was very nice and clean.

Outside the building, back and front, looked dirty and rundown.
