Goods: The location is absolutely excellent. The private terrace is very large too, even bigger than pictures show, and we really enjoyed spending time out there. Check in was also very easy and the hosts were quite responsive to messages. If you can tolerate the bads listed below, and the price drops low enough, it's not the worst choice.

Bads: The bathroom is a major problem. It's built in a wall next to a staircase, so you have a high step up to get in and out, and one slip means you'd fall down the stairs. All the other reviews are accurate when they say the bathroom 100% does not drain water. I was especially annoyed by this because I asked someone at the host company if that would be an issue, and they promised me it would not because they fixed a clog in the drain. It has nothing to do with a clogged drain; the floor is not level and it slants to the side closest to the door, not the drain. This means every shower you take fills the room with water that doesn't leave, and your feet are sitting in a few centimeters of water every time you sit on the toilet. I was actually okay with the place being in a stairwell, because the pictures showed this, but I felt tricked by them telling me the shower drain wouldn't be a problem, when they know it definitely always will be. Additionally, the cleanliness was not ideal. I slept on the couch while my father took the bed, and the couch had some obvious and very large stains on it. The comforter they left for someone to sleep there also had no cover on it, which means you can see very clear yellow sweat stains from previous people using that cover. Again, if you can ignore these things, then it's not a terrible choice for a central location in Valletta, but I wouldn't recommend this to most people. If they fix the drainage in the bathroom, and get clean covers for the couch and comforters, then I could recommend this place, but still only if the price is right.

There's absolutely nothing to like about the apartment. The apartment is sub standard.

Absolutely everything about the apartment. The room was an absolutely disgrace. 35 degrees temperature, and the air conditioner wasn't working . The shower/ toilet was that small you couldn't change in the room, plus the water from the shower doesn't drain properly . Bed and Breafast apartment well there's no kitchen, kitchen sink, no table or a stove. The owner was a rude person when l rang him about the air conditioner not working. I paid for 3 nights and left after the first night without a refund for the last 2 days.  The room was 35 degrees in the evening. Without the air conditioner working, we couldn't sleep at all, and the sweet was pouring out.  The apartment is also very unsafe at all .The WIFI didn't even work. Everywhere you need to go in the apartment, you need to go up stairsthere's stairs . The stairs from the balcony to the room were narrow very hard to get up the stairs carrying a suitcase. There's approx 40 stairs to get to the third floor room. The people don't waste your money in staying in a below standard apartment. Unfortunately l couldn't rate the apartment zero even zero isn't right .
