Cherub Cottage located in the centre of Historic Dartmouth

The location is excellent

Couldn't work the induction hob, toilet in the bathroom didn't flush properly.

Lovely cosy cottage in the centre of Dartmouth. Excellent facilities and very clean. Great location, we loved it.

The parking was a garage some distance away from the cottage, with difficult access, only suitable for a small car. We were unable to use it

Central, well fitted out, modern. All great and excellent communication. Good for Labrador

Parking was possible outside but only if your lucky: though we were and left car there for 4days. There is a garage relatively close which is ok but reverse down road towards it as it is wider for parking. I got a BMW X3 in it but not for faint hearted. But don’t let me put you off

Location was excellent. Close by to quay, cafes and restaurants

Great location and relaxing atmosphere

Needs more cooking equipment, there was only 1 pan large enough to cook veg in and lack of large utensils eg fork. So took me an hour to cook 3 veg for meal. Not enough serving bowls. That’d cost about £10 to provide. To note, the radiator in living room was leaking.

The location was perfect. It was cute and the facilities in the property were very good apart from the shower in the main bathroom.

The lack of parking. The garage was not accessible by our Volvo. We struggled to find alternatives for 4 days and kept having to move the car. Also they had been a lack of communication between the agent (Dart Cottages), and the cleaner, so the cottage had not been cleaned or the beds changed when we arrived. After a 5 hour journey in the car that was disappointing. The matter was resolved by the cleaner very quickly however who gave us two bottles of Cava to Apologise to us, which was lovely.

The central location was excellent for exploring Dartmouth. The kitchen was well equiped & it would be very easy to cook up a feast if desired. Beds were comfortable & bedding was lovely. Good to have the pretty little courtyard at the front.

No negatives with the cottage itself, but the parking was an issue. The size of the garage provided was described as suitable for a small, medium car & we found that a bit deceiving. We would not have been able to get out of our car if we had been able to access the garage. The lane was very narrow & cars were parked on either side of the garage, making access impossible. No long stay parking in Mayors car park & issues with the long stay park & ride with machines out of order. None of that the properties fault but it did distract from our stay. Perhaps the property could invest in a parking permit & add the cost onto the price paid.

Brilliant location. Super comfy beds. Really clean

Only one relaxing chair in the front room. The settee wasn’t a ‘let’s watch TV for The evening’ type of design.
