Hotel Casafrassi

Villa Casafrassi is located on a nice and green hill at around 15 minutes by car from Siena. It's a good solution to enjoy the Tuscany landscape and have a good relax surronded from the nature. Room was located on the first floor on the building and was clean and conforteable. Breakfast was also practical and well done. There are possibilities to walk around the property and admires the landscape. A swimming pool was available probably in the summer season.

- Not much water coming out of the shower. On the last morning there was no water at all - reception was closed at 20:00 - restaurant closed most of that would be ok, but not for the price and when described as a 4*-Hotel.

I've spent 5 days with my daughter at the beginning of August. The place is amazing, on top of a hill in the Chianti region. The landscapes and the views around are breathtaking, the hotel the people and the facilities are great. We had very good breakfast every day and we had just one dinner at their restaurant where I could try their own produced wine. The place is situated at roughly 30 minutes from Siena by car and in 1 hour range from other places like San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino. After visiting these place we were going back to relax in the swimming pool. Within 5 minutes by car you can reach Castellina in Chianti where there are several places to have dinner in the evening. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to enjoy the real Toscana.

!!BEDBUGS!! We were supposed to stay there for 4 nights. After the 1st night, we were eaten by bedbugs (see photos!). We asked to change room. In the new room: BEDBUGS AGAIN! We even took a photo of the mattress... Look at how bad the conditions are. Then, we changed for a 3rd room: MOISTURE ON THE WALLS. This is nothing like a 4* hostel. We changed hostel! Also, we saw the cleaners doing: they're only changing the white bed sheets = THEY DON'T CHANGE THE BEDSPREAD BETWEEN 2 CUSTOMERS. The hostel is refusing to give us a compensation for the problem we had. They're even charging 39€ for the cleaning service. They refuse to follow the laws of the Codice del Turismo!! Concerning the breakfast: only 2 people for the poor "buffet". We had to go 4 times to find what we wanted because everything was empty. Lack of staff!!
