The apartment I was absolutely delighted. Everything was top-notch – from the impeccable cleanliness to the thoughtful design that created an incredibly pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. What Made It So Wonderful? Comfort and Amenities: The apartment was equipped with everything needed, and then some. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessary appliances for cooking, and the living room was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. You could tell the owners paid attention to every single detail, no matter how small. The apartment's design simply took my breath away. Modern yet cozy, with beautiful touches that formed a cohesive and elegant whole. It's clear someone poured their heart into it and cared about the details. Communication with the owner was seamless and quick. This kind of hospitality is truly rare! I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in comfortable and beautiful surroundings. I'll definitely want to come back here!

The surroundings of the apartment were quite beautiful. We just wanted to mention that there was sometimes a distinct, natural farm smell in the area, likely due to a cow farm nearby.

This place is massive. Living areas are comfortable and it has plenty of space in all of the rooms. We were up for a wedding and wanted space to work during the day and this met the criteria well. Its is quite quirky and I think the historic link is probably tenuous but that doesn't matter. The rooms are well appointed but there is furniture which serves no purpose at all. Lots of gold and bling but fun none the less

Similar to previous comments. The apartments themselves are clean apart from a lot of cob webs. I also walked on a random screw in the bathroom carpet which was not great. It is really the outside areas that need work as first impressions are not good. Starting with the car park, there is debris and bins in random places which would be better if sorted and fenced off. The entrance has used lined crates not closed off , then random golf clubs and empty card board boxes onto stairs were in need of a good vacuum - all of this creates a poor impression especially when inside it is fine. There is flickering lights noted on previous comments but the most irritating thing is the lack of mirrors. The en suite has a mirror of the toilet flush at a low level so no good for a shave and that's about it apart from a full length mirror. The other bathroom has a hole and a wire hanging out where maybe a mirror was and it should be replaced. One of the bedrooms must have had a tv as the ariel wire hung forlornly from the wall so it the attention to detail that needs sorting. Some tea and coffee sachets would have been useful as we arrived late and had to find a super market - ignore the bottles of prosecco in the pics, you won't be getting any!!!! Overall ok. Luxury, no as someone said gold taps does not present luxury. Overall its fine but for the price which is high end it lacks simple touches.

Spacious property, balcony is a nice touch

Lot of cobwebs, main car park is littered with rubbish, laundry carts dumped in the entrance make it hard to get through with bags and not what you want to see when ‘luxury’ is in the title, shower in main bathroom didn’t work, told the hosts the said they’d fix it in the morning the never came so was disappointed at this, could do with a fan in the bedrooms as gets really warm, the window to the balcony also doesn’t shut properly so not the most secure. More attention to detail is required. Lot of paint coming off the walls, carpets not fitted properly on the stairs so tend to step on spikes, hole in bathroom where supposedly where a mirror once was, balcony not very clean, cigarette butts all over and could do with a jet wash. Overall a nice property but wouldn’t class this as luxury at all.

It was a beautiful, home from home luxury apartment. It was very spacious within a relaxing environment. There are beautiful country walks on your doorstep and I recommend a visit to the tearoom at Daisy Clough nursery during your stay

This property was not luxurious. One bedroom window (large enough to fit a man through) wouldn’t close or lock so the entire apartment was not secure. The main shower was very difficult to turn on/off and one of the two toilets had a very weak flush. The paintwork was badly chipped throughout, the ceiling showed damp, discoloured patches and the place was covered in cobwebs. The ceiling lights flickered in both bedrooms and there was a lack of basic kitchen supplies… namely teaspoons. Finally, the narrow corridors were a struggle enough with bags and a suitcase so to fill them with large laundry trolleys was both unsightly and totally impractical. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

It was a beautiful apartment with its own balcony to take in the views. The owner was great after a few teething problems all was resolved in a timely manner. Loved the history of the building and the high ceilings, gorgeous decor and beams. The bathroom is amazing. We loved our stay and would return. Great for walks locally.

You do have to drive to get to local restaurants but not too far.

Absolutely Beautiful!! Lovely little touches like bottle of Prosecco left for the adults and haribos for the kids. Gorgeous place to stay and communication from the host throughout. Will definitely stay again.
