"Cosy and gezellig!"

Although not directly "by the seaside", the location is great, in close proximity to beaches, the Zwin saltmarshes, Damme, Sluis en Brugge. The cottage is very "gezellig" (cosy) and well stocked.

The cottage is a bit cluttered and some furniture could be done without.

in het dorp staan wel erg veel huizen te koop, dat geeft iets un-heimisch

"Heel sfeervol authentiek huisje met fijne grote tuin in een mooi rustig dorp."

Heerlijke plek en schattig huisje. De authetieke sfeer met originele tegelvloer in de keuken en dan ook nog de mooie oude plavuizen in de woonkamers. Mooi ingericht met oude/antieke spullen en een fijne voorraad boeken. Fijn om aan de tuinkant in de zon te zitten bij de openstaande ramen en zo naar buiten te kunnen om te zonnebaden of buiten te zitten.

We wisten de tv niet aan te krijgen, misschien een handleiding neerleggen voor tv? Hoewel een paar dagen geen tv kijken ook wel rustgevend was. De boekenvoorraad was genoeg om maanden geen tv te hoeven kijken.
