The hotel location is excellent, the rooms are very clean. Breakfast was tasty with so many options, hotel staff members are friendly from the manager, restaurant manager to waitress andcleaner. The receptionist manager, Diallo was very helpful in navigating my way around the city and very friendly and hospitable. I would recommend the hotel to everyone visiting Dakar

The Wakola Hotel Cheikh Anta DIOP is centrally located in Dakar within easy reach of most of the city’s attractions and neighbourhoods. It is modern and spotlessly clean with a refreshing perfumed smell in the rooms after they have been cleaned. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure that guests are made to feel comfortable and welcomed. A good breakfast is served at the rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. The price of the rooms also represents great value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, they helped me with everything even though I didn’t know French language

The water flow of the shower wasn’t that strong, but perfect to take a shower

I had a few issues with my bathroom which were eventually fixed, but I wish I did not have to ask the staff to fix the shower. My room was a bit dark and the lights were too bright. I wish I had a lamp on the desk.

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was in the rooftop, so you could see around! In the middle of the distance between the plateau Dakar and Almadies, next to the university. The hotel's staff was really very kind and always available if you need anything! I really had a great time there and I recommend it!

Friendly, attentive staff. They addressed small problems quickly. Hotel is conveniently located in central Dakar near the university and shopping mall. Basic good quality. Clean and safe. Not for those looking for vacation luxuries such as a pool and ocean views, but great for anyone else.
