Flamenco Village Old San Juan

Amazing location and beautiful apartment

This property is a game of two halves the by day and night. . . The accommodation is lovely and facilities are great. The location in old town is fabulous with so many interesting sites to visit in easy walking distance. However at night this is when it all changes… The living room is directly above a bar and night club which start in the early evening and into the early hours of the morning. The music is SO LOUD you struggle to hear the television. The bedroom is around the corner so the volume is reduced but the window/doors into the road aren’t very substantial so when the revellers exit the bar and make their way home all you can hear is their screams and shouting as they walk past or wait for their transport home. This is so sad as the apartment is so fabulous but I cannot say I had a restful stay.

The hospitality was excellent! There were beers and soda left for us. The apartment is in the heart of Old San Juan & it was easy to go to everything from the apartment! The area is lively and the music from the streets can be loud but overall it was great!

The apartment was great. Spaciois and clean.

The noise from bar below us and loud people on our street leaving the bar. We didn’t sleep until after 2 am when bar closed. This lodging is not ideal for light sleepers. We didn’t see this issue mentioned in the reviews.

Excellent location - walkable to everything

Loud music until 2am (it's above the loudest bar on the street, even though almost no one was in the bar!)- no silverware in the kitchen- only cooking utensils

It was a great apartment, well kept and maintained. Great location.

Although the place was nice and it was close to Old Town, I would not stay there again. The noise from the local bars and the bar below made it impossible to sleep without the aid of earplugs. I felt like I was sleeping in a discotheque. Thank god, the bars were not open all night. What a shame. The place was great except for the noise at nighttime.
