No tall glasses, fridge too small, no cushions on loungers, curtains more hooks

The surrounding areas and views and the ability to explore the farm was amazing. Also loved that we were sunset facing at the River Ikhaya cottage. The braai facilities are great and give you options to braai undercover or in the open - such a great option to have. We also loved that we had our own little deck by the river in front of our cottage. There is also a viewpoint and picnic area close to the cottages on the river side and that was so nice to explore and enjoy. The best part of all was that our dog had the most amazing time (as did we). He was a happy boy with all the space to run and sticks to find.

The gate to the farm across the road was super annoying to open - please get a longer chain if you are keeping that lock system. We struggled with that quite a bit. The bath was also an exciting feature but we couldn't use it because the water pressure for the bath was not great - it would've taken us forever to fill it up. But strangely the shower pressure was amazing! Overall - these are not complaints but just suggestions for a better experience.

The accommodation was advertised as dog friendly but our particular cottage was in the game area where black wildebeest and an unfriendly donkey were free to roam.
