Starfish Cottage, Broadstairs Beach & Garden Haven

Excellent location and clean. Cosy and comfortable.

The dishwasher does not work properly and the contents were often still dirty. It would be helpful to have hanging space for coats downstairs and more towel rails generally. Some symbols on the oven would be good but as this was our second visit we are getting the hang of how the oven works!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little holiday home! Easy self check-in with the key lock box, and the hosts left a welcome hamper stocked with biscuits, coffee pods, mini toiletries and a few other essentials. The kitchen was well equipped, although there are too many great restaurants in Broadstairs to bother cooking! The two bathrooms were really handy for our group of four adults (and 2 dogs). Our furry friends loved the place too - a secure courtyard garden for their morning sniffs, and just 1 minute walk from the beach at Viking bay where they could run off-lead (prior to 1st May). The hosts were super accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and late checkout, which allowed us to enjoy Broadstairs for a little bit longer. The cottage itself sits in a pretty little square tucked behind the high street, which means it's nice and quiet even though it's so central.

Nothing we didn't like! We'd happily stay again.

Very quirky cottage, very cosy, great facilities, welcome pack, allowed early check in, fantastic location, can see the sea from top floor. Great decor.

Stairs difficult for those less mobile which should be detailed on the description.
