GBeverything was great could not ask for more

GBNo heating in the room other than a plug in heater. The sound of traffic on the road was incredibly noisy. No coffee or tea. The most unhelpful way to check in. Definitely do not recommend.

Lodge we stayed in had several issues that we reported, we had a quick response about sorting issues but it was obvious that a thorough inspection or clean hadn't been carried out before we arrived. If the owners can make these minor changes we would definitely stop again.

Turned up to a room full of dirty towels and the bed had been slept in. Spoke to a cleaner there and all she said was "not on my list to clean, not my problem" I phoned the number and said that the room hadn't been made up since the last people had been in there. Was told they would get right on it. 2 hours later the room was finally sorted. I paid extra for an early check-in and was told they would refund it! This was September the 23rd! Im still waiting for my £150 deposit that I put down that was supposed to be back in my account 2 weeks ago. No hot water for the 1st day and night! Avoid this place at all costs

GBGBNo hot water again one night, automated phone service that just cuts you off, not serviced so if you stay for a week there's no cleaning service, bins emptied etc.
GBI have no problem paying a security deposit. However, you should be informed of this prior to booking. I paid for the hotel thinking the transaction was finished just to receive an email saying if I don't pay another £150 they will cancel the booking and keep what I paid for the room
