Very clean and spacious accommodation

It was hard to find the property. You just pass by. There was no sign.

Location

I was very undecided how to rate the property. We arrived at Cosy Cottage at around 7.30 p.m. to find that it hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant, and dirty towels were in the bathroom and dirty linen on the bed. My reason for not giving a lower rating is that a panic phone call to Guest Services resulted in an almost immediate response, and relocation to an adjacent unit that was fortuitously not occupied. I think the intended occupants were booked in to Cosy Cottage the next day, so I assume the cleaning issue had been resolved. I think the 2 units were virtually identical, so can state that they were well-equipped and comfortable.

The unit we were relocated into did have a few 'snagging' issues (we were only the second occupants of the refurbished unit) including WiFi that was intermittent, and the unit had a washing machine instead of the dishwasher we would have preferred. But overall we were very happy with everything.

Cottage really homely and in a beautiful scenic spot. Everything really clean and extra touches such as blankets on sofa and tea/coffee in kitchen.

The WiFi was awful and very difficult to watch anything on tv as reception was too bad.

Great location, and very quiet. Very handy to Stratford and for hiking in the Cotswolds. Very good heating

The hot water was lukewarm at best. The washing machine was very noisy and put white material all over the clothes. Was missing some finishing touches - salt and pepper and oil. Some local walking maps would be great to have as well
