L’appartement est très bien équipé, très propre. Gerardo et son equipe sont très gentils et serviables.

Good location and facilities, walking distance towards everything. Gerardo is there to help you with everything you want and need! Ps install glovo to order food and groceries ;) or you can walk up and down the hills ;)

The apartment was spacious with everything we needed. It also was clean and towels were changed every 2 days. There were 2 bathrooms so we didn’t have to wait for showers. The host was very responsive whenever we had questions. He was also super nice and prepared some welcome fruit and snacks for us when we checked in.

The garage was small so parking was quite difficult.

Very clean. Simple check in. Gerardo was there waiting for us when we arrived, very polite and left us a few goodies from the local bakery!

Gerardo was a perfect host, friendly and helpful, and patient when we had some delays getting from the airport. Lovely fruit and local delicacies on arrival. The apartment was perfectly clean, very well equipped, and spacious. Two bathrooms with plenty of towels, washing machine proved useful, good wifi, coffee machine with filters. Nice view down over the city. Access to private garage very useful. Lots to do and see in Madeira.

We didn't find any shops, restaurants, or bars very close to the apartment. The busier area is nice and not too far, but it's quite a strenuous and warm climb back up the very steep hill heading home. This was our first holiday without access to a pool. The nearest beach wasn't comfortable or attractive. Madeira has lots to see and do, but we missed having somewhere to just relax in the sun at times.

Very specious apartment with all the necessities (and some extra stuff that I wouldn't normally expect) inside it, making cooking a lot easier - you also have a lot of flexibility when eating outside, as the apartment is very close to the old square. The dishwasher and washing machine are a nice addition, especially if you plan on hiking, as the terrain might be very muddy. The owner is very helpful and nice, we were helped with getting from and to the airport with taxi. The towels were changed regularly, and the whole apartment was very clean. The private underground parking is perfect for a rented car.

Palheiro residence was one of the best stays of our vacation. Gerado and his team ensured that we were well looked after with bins and towels changed every second day. The house was lovely, spacious and clean. Everything worked and was well located near Funchal if you have a car.

Personal preference: the beds were too hard for us.

We had no problem with parking - there is a garage and the car was inside. The host welcomed us very nicely.
