EV Apartment with free parking place

The EV apartment it's located in a building without noise and clean.

The parking place was difficult to use, but we stay there on a week very hot (more then forty degrees Celsius), and we can't use the card.

Convenient, but would not mind a cleaner set of bed sheets.

Wonderful, cosy, super comfortable apartment with heating (which was important in the middle of winter). Great communication with the host.

Nice new apartment in the old part of Volos. Good use of space, long narrow apartment consisting of a large bathroom, small kitchen, bedroom and a living room, with sofa and large TV. The owner kept in contact through Booking.com messages, answered quickly and politely, but didn't really answer my specific questions. (see below). The apartment was super clean and fresh, everything you needed for a short stay. Suitable for 2 people (slim) would be a bit cramped for more. The place was very warm, which was great as Volos was quite chilly. I would definitely recommend the place, The town of Volos is about a 20 min walk, which we needed after eating so many mezedes in the local tsipouradika. Great value. The area around the apartment is a bit run down, and closed up but we did manage to find a lovely taverna with excellent pork BBQ ribs. I really enjoyed Volos and if the new road ever opens up, we'll be back, I don't fancy doing the windy road down from Ioannina again, at least I'll know how to park the car next time lol. If the below comments could be addressed then my score would have been a 10.

OK, now the bit I hate writing .... but as to be said. The owner seemed lovely through the messages but did not really answer my questions, a specific question was 'how to use the parking' I think the owner should write out a complete detailed post on how to check in and park, not just a code number to get keys - that is great if you do not arrive in a car. Having never used a paid carpark facility in our lives, we needed step by step details, which weren't given, we managed to figure everything out by trial and error. 1. First error was we parked and then opened the key box to find the parking card there. so it wouldn't surprise us if we get a bill for unpaid tickets as we had no idea what we were meant to do. Then imagine our shock to see the parking lot closed on Sunday (there was no mention of this) We figured out how to get into the building and had no idea how to get out (turns out it was automatic) Was quite an adventure, so any future car owners arriving be aware of how it all works, especially if you've never used a parking lot before :) 2. There is no mention of a lift in the entrance, You open the door and are faced with a lot of steps, so if you have luggage just go past the steps and there's a lift. We were lucky we only had a small suitcase. Once you get out of the lift take the hall on the left and then the first right It's the door with plants (the owners love of fake plants and flowers is evident all through the apartment) outside. That also took us a while to find, as no instructions, we arrived late and tired after a 5 hr journey, so maybe it took us longer to find because of this. 3. Be aware the bed is not quite a double and the mattress is hard (for me anyway) . The bed was a bit too small for us, which was ok, I slept on the sofa on the 2nd night, more comfortable, And finally the TV isn't a SMART TV so expect to watch only Greek TV if you're a telly addict like my husband.

A lovely place with lots of Greek additions including Christmas decorations. Also a lovely host. Easy PIN code key box then up to the first floor. Ten minute walk to harbour and CBD. Comfortable and super clean. Washing machine and dryer.
