Catherine Cruises Ha Long Bay

We had a lovely one night stay with the cruise. Lovely staff lovely food. Exceptional service. We had an absolutely amazing experience on our cruise to Ha Long Bay. The stay on the cruise was breathtaking—the views were stunning and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and unforgettable. A special thank you to Mary checking in on us and making sure our stay was enjoyable, she gave excellent service. I definitely recommend this cruise to anyone

This overnight stay was amazing!! Words can’t express how grateful and wonderful the staff are on this boat. They made our anniversary a memorable occasion with a cake and announcement. We were lucky enough to be in the presidential suite but all rooms are amazing. The boat director Ken is so good at his job and he made us and others feel very welcome but they are so appreciative we chose Catherine Cruises ! Our server, Evelyn was amazing too with her intern Dui doing a great job too. We would choose Catherine Cruises again next time in Ha Long Bay.

Large rooms and spacious balcony. Loved the old world charm, great service and delicious food . Very well planned itinerary which allowed us to cover all the important areas of interest.

A bit rushed 1 night itinerary

Our suite was very beautiful! My wife is handicap in a wheelchair, and the boat was very special needs friendly. We booked it primarily because it had an elevator/lift. Our hostess Mary was exceptionally attentive to our special needs. She was so wonderful and helpful throughout our stay! She even sent us via WhatsApp, a video they took when they did an anniversary celebration for us after dinner one night.

Room was big and spacious. Food was also so delicious. The staff were super friendly and so accommodating. Love interacting with everyone. I felt 3D2N was perfect length! Great balance for everything.

Some language barrier issues. Only a few staff fluent in English. WiFi would fail to connect specifically within my room but worked fine in other rooms and throughout the ship. Tried to explain this but uncertain if staff really understood the issue. Never got resolved. Minor communication issues with certain instances of explaining expectations for tours and activities but overall, staff were so awesome and did the best they could to please those onboard. Lastly, some message inquires I sent via Booking .com were left unanswered. The cruise line responds much better reaching them through WhatsApp at their listed phone number. Overall, I would consider sailing with them again.

The food was exceptional. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

I think I had a perception we’d travel a bit further out in the bay.
