Agriturismo La Corte del Sole

Host Filiberto was welcoming and helpful from the start. Clearly it’s his/his family’s operation as he takes pride in it. The unit was immaculately clean, well beyond expectations of normal cleanliness. Wine at welcome too. We had the 2/2 unit with the large grassy area great for my dog. She loved it as much as we did. Location is very close to Siena and reasonable drive to Florence and the Leccio outlets. Great hot water. Gorgeous view.

Being a 3 unit building, walls are a bit thin. We had some rowdy young men next to us and we heard lots of racket, really no different than any modern building I’ve experienced in Italy

Filiberto was a very great host, he guided us what to see, where to go and so many tips before our travel, the house was amazing, everything was clean and almost new, the agriturismo has an amazing view to the city and so many nice spots for pictures, no doubt we will come back.

The apartment and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and conveniently located. We had a spacious kitchen/dining room, a large but comfortable upstairs living room with views, a roomy bedroom, and a comfortable bed--plus a well designed patio area with a table and two sets of chairs. The apartment was stocked with thoughtful amenities like toiletries, coffee, tea, and extra blankets. The host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful, showing us the property upon arrival, providing information about the area, and answering any questions we had. While there, we had plenty of quiet and privacy. The farm itself is lovely, and the grounds are well tended and also thoughtfully appointed, with benches, shady spots, and a potted flowers. Truly, we could not have asked for a better stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommended.

Filiberto met us when we arrived and showed us around the property and through the apartment. We stayed in an apartment with two master bedrooms and two master bathrooms. The place was well equipped in the kitchen, the decor was updated and very stylish. Every room was extremely clean and all the maintenance was like new (e.g. - showers, baths, kitchen, etc.). The location is ideal. You have a beautiful view of Old Siena. We stayed three nights, but easily could stay a week or two. It is a great spot to stay and go on day trips to Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggino, and Montepulciano. You are only an hour plus away from Florence. You are in the country, but close to wonderful restaurants, and 10 minutes from Siena. We will be back, and highly recommend this place.

We only stayed four days and three nights and that was not long enough. This place is wonderful.

The bed was comfy, kitchen was well-equipped and the view was unparalleled. It was so nice to open the windows upstairs and let the breeze blow through. The host was flexible and met us at check-in to show us around. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed!

The apartment is beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. It has everything we needed to feel at home including well equipped kitchen. The views from the big windows are stunning. the outside of the apartment is very welcoming with a beautiful garden and a breathtaking view to the green hills around Siena and to the old city of Siena. on top of all, Filiberto Grisanti is a great host. from the first moment we made the reservation, he is easy to communicate. he provided us a lot of helpful information about the area and helped us with recommendation. it was a real pleasure to be a guest at his place !

Filiberto is such an amazing host. He personally came out to introduce himself and gave us a tour of the villa. The villa itself is so spotless and tastefully decorated. And who can forget the jaw-dropping panoramic view of Siena!

Basicallly everything. The location of the property, the scene, the greeting from the owner of the property. We had a wonderful 3-day stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others who want to explore the Siena area.
