Freedom Park Villas, Plymouth

The location

The room was not as depicted in the website. The TV was on a bedside table next to the bed so wouldn't have been in view. The place seemed more like a halfway house. No tea and coffee in the room as described. I did not even stay. I walked out after being there for 15 mins.

Almost complete facilities as I stayed in the self-contained flat (missing shower gel could easily be requested to host as I thought it would be like hotel, but just used my own). Complete kitchen utensils, could cook for myself. I loved that there were all these different hot sauces in the pantry! I love those! As I stayed for 5 days it was convenient to use the washing machine too.

Some part of the floor creaked when walked on, it was no big deal. I just felt uncomfortable when walking during the night as concerned of disturbing others. Otherwise, it was an excellent stay.

Great stay close to town. Comfortable and clean. Good message communication from the owners. Peaceful stay and clear instruction on expectations including keeping noise down which we appreciated. Cute cats though we didn't see much of them. Great kitchen facilities and nice to have tea and coffee supplied throughout. We were accommodated on the ground floor which was appreciated as my daughter had fractured her ankle and needed easy access. There was a side door that once we discovered meant we didn't need to navigate the front stairs

Only reason for not giving 10 stars is lack of checking in during stay. We were there for 6 nights and not a problem for me to empty our own bins but no bin bags were accessible to replace and would have been nice to have been offered fresh towels especially as we only had 1 bath towel given between 2 of us (i did get an extra towel from the laundry room).

Very spacious, comfortable room with large bed and adjacent bathroom, for a very affordable price. Great location in a quiet residential area, with ~20min walk to city center. Friendly staff and cute kitties :)

Communication was excellent. Really helpful and friendly with any enquiries.Check in was simple. Apartment was small but adequate for my needs as a single person on a short break. One bedroom apartment located on the first floor of a stunning high ceiling house that is split into rooms/apartments.Clean and tidy. Bedding was clean and tidy, memory foam mattress was comfy. Items as expected. Comfortable lounge/diner with good facilities. Was very handy to have a washing machine. Location is great. About a 15/20 min walk into the city centre. There are two parks nearby too which were nice. Area is quite hilly but that's expected in Plymouth.

Could have done with a hand towel as well as a bath towel and bath mat. Also a non slip shower mat would be handy. Could have done with a couple more pillows (just my preference) I did find the spare ones in the cupboard after the second night. Lots of steps to the property, which is fine with me but someone with limited mobility might struggle a little.

Great location and lovely house Great kitchen all spotlessly clean. Peaceful place and friendly staff.

I booked the small double room. It says it has a private bathroom which I thought meant ensuite. However my private bathroom and toilet were downstairs which was ok as no one else used it,however I would have preferred to have an ensuite. Maybe wording on booking. Com could be different so that customer realises exactly what they are booking. However it was really good value. Would definitely recommend.
