In trenta giorni di viaggio, il peggior alloggio prenotato. Siamo stati tre giorni ad agosto, in inverno, la camera n 2 gelida e umida e senza aria condizionata , ho avuto due giorni di febbre. Non c’è modo di scaldare le stanze, non ci è stato proposto un cambio stanza nemmeno sapendo della mia situazione. Abbiamo chiesto una lavatrice , alla modica cifra di 500 NAD, follia, il costo di una cena !!!! Non consiglio assolutamente il posto, per la stessa cifra c’è molto di meglio !

Eine tolle Unterkunft in Swakopmund. Sie ist sehr zentral gelegen und das Personal ist super nett. Das Frühstück war das absolute Highlight und sollte vor Ort genossen werden. Das Haus hat zudem ein tollen Charme und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Lage ist super: In wenigen Minuten ist man im Zentrum, und trotzdem haben wir uns in der Unterkunft sehr sicher gefühlt.

So relaxing, slept amazing, great staff, very clean, and overall great atmosphere.

The property is conveniently located near the Swakopmund CBD, offering the option to walk to town. The staff were helpful with directions. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was a lovely exception from the typical buffet breakfast.

The property adjoins a relatively busy road, as was to be expected. The streetlights and lights of the businesses were somewhat intrusive, but this could be easily fixed by installing block-out curtains.

Die Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich schön und sehr gemütlich. Sie wurde mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Inhaberin war sehr nett und sehr herzlich. Als wir ihr erzählten, dass wir unsere Flitterwochen in Namibia verbringen, hat sie uns zum Abschied noch eine Flasche Wein geschenkt. Hervorzuheben ist auch das wirklich gute Frühstück. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the breakfast varied, tasty and home made.

As for many houses in Namibia, the premise is not equipped with heating/aircon, making the room a bit humid or cold throughout the day. However there is a fireplace in the common area and warm bottles as well as extra blankets are offered!

Location Value for money

Breakfast is poor , slow, and confusing. They do not ask for your preferences and bring you what they think is right. One day, it was yogurt, the next a smoothie. They would improve a lot just by having a menu list to choose from the day before. Rooms small for Namibian standards, but the price is right.
