Sukiya Tiny House - Luxury Nature Escape in Redlands

The place was beautiful. Nice quiet cozy mini house. The landscaping was beautiful. The different koi ponds and birds around the property were stunning. Location is close to many things to see or do. Definitely recommend.

Internet and tv was disabled entire stay from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Contaminated our clothes with smell.

The garden is what attracted me on the pictures when I made the booking. It is true that the garden has a wow effect when you arrive. Some amazing birds ans fishes as well. The main pond is beautiful and a nice/peaceful spot to read a book.

The room is a disaster ! If you are claustrophobic, avoid absolutely this place as the bedroom has no window !! The moment I entered the room I felt I was entering a cell with a very dark environment. The main door to access the living room/kitchen space only had a frosted glass through which you could not see anything and only limited light. In the bedroom no window at all. A smell mixing musty flavours (humidity in the room) and chemicals from the cleaning products. We tried to keep the door as open as possible to refresh the air when we arrived as the smell was terrible. That means we had no privacy most of the time ! I booked for 3 and needed the sofa bed for my child. The sofa bed was not prepared - hence I had to do it on my own. The sofa bed is very poor quality (no mattress! you literally just sleep on the top of the sofa bed) - hence you could not sleep well …

The property is very special, and beautiful. (Almost everything else was disappointing) > Smelled strongly of harsh cleaning products, made it uncomfortable to stay in the house > Dirty underwear found in the bedroom drawers from previous guests (picture attached) > Heavy machinery construction right outside the window past 5pm, this took away from the peace and quiet > House generally felt a little worn, things like the couch fabric being dirty with stains Overall disappointing experience, not worth $180 for 1 night (But I would recommend visiting the gardens in the daytime, a lot of effort has been put into the space and it’s a unique attraction in Homestead)
