Mickitos Apartments - Mavrovo

Clean, new, quiet, modern furnished apartment, right on the slopes. Comfortable beds, free parking next to the apartment... I would book this again

Really wanted to like this place, sadly it didn't end up like that. Looks great on the pictures and in person, until you start to discover everything missing after the first 5 minutes...

Google Maps didn't lead us to the right place and we were never told that's the case. There's a new road and where Google Maps will take you is dangerous. The first thing the host asked us was about the exact hour when we're planning to leave (when we didn't even know ourselves), so didn't really feel welcome there when that's the first thing the host asks after the later than 3PM check-in. The toilet was literally flooded when we arrived, we had to wait an extra hour and a half for it to dry out so we can use it, even though they had more than three hours to clean the apartment, and no, there aren't any slippers or anything that can help. There's ZERO free electric outlets, you would have to plug out something else in order to charge your phone. The TV needs 5 minutes to register one click of a button, so you would need like half an hour to complete a single YouTube search. All in all, very disappointed. To not even begin discussing how overpriced this is.

The host is super helpful and always answers. The building is new, all appliances were new clean and it was very warm and cozy.

The apartment is very new and beautifully furnished and finished. We were happy to stay here. From the window we saw the forest. My boyfriend had his 40th birthday and they left balloons for us in the room. The bed was very comfortable and cosy in a corner. In the month October there were almost no other guests in the surroundings which has pros and cons.

We had some questions for restaurants and hikes that remain unanswered. We did not meet anyone in person but we could pay online or with cash. I wish we had that information earlier before we withdrew cash.
