Villa Palmiye by Villa Safiya

Great Vila Location is 5 min walk to town, very conveniently placed

Property was beautiful and location was perfect - just a short walk to the restaurants and shops. Kitchen had everything we needed. Living areas were spacious and comfortable. Pool & outside seating area was perfect.

There were a few issues. I had requested a cot when booking, I then messaged a week before arriving to remind them of the cot. When we arrived at midnight there was no cot & they said they would organise it the next day - we said this was not an option, for our babies safety he needed a cot to sleep in - someone did then bring a cot but it wasn’t an ideal start especially after such a long day of travelling and it could have been avoided. When originally booking (8 months in advance) they messaged to say we had been overcharged and when we arrive they would refund us the amount - I asked if they could amend the payment on here but they said they couldn’t (it was close to £1000 we had overpaid) when we got there they told us that they wouldn’t be refunding the full amount as they would be out of pocket - after much back & forth we took the loss, if this was the case we could have easily cancelled the booking at the time and rebooked the villa next door at the lower cost. It was the start of our holiday and we didn’t want to spend it arguing but it was disappointing. We stayed for 2 weeks and they said a cleaner would come after the first week but they didn’t, we didn’t get the villa cleaned at all during our stay.

Everything was excellent. The villa is so clean and has wonderful views. It’s almost 7 to 10 minutes walk from most cafes and restaurants and shops. The staff are so helpful, I asked about boat rentals, taxis and buggy rentals and they provided everything. We would definitely come back.

We loved that there was water available for us to use on arrival the property was so beautiful and spacious and clean. We were extremely pleased with this place and highly recommend!!!

The property has a beautiful pool maybe an idea would be to provide pool towels. Everything else was absolutely faultless.
