Very clean and nice looking apartment with all the necessary requirements for a good stay

It could get a bit warm in certain rooms and the windows wouldnt open and there wasnt airco

The location of the are is amazing, you get a full view and it's extremely spacious

The literal only issue we had apon arrival was the location. The website says 'Scandi Abode' but the entrance has the word 'Blue' and so we had gotten confused for a little over an hour as we weren't from the area, and when asking some locals and going to the reception of other hotels they hadn't heard of it (My phone died at the time so I couldn't contact via booking.com). But after confirming it was the 'Blue' place, everything went smoothly from there!

"Incredibly stressful!"

The location was great for various attractions & the property itself was as described.

The actions of the booking team & the policy regarding distance to the property. I was told the booking should have been refused because I lived too close, however nothing flagged up when the booking was confirmed & paid for. I also was required to verify my identity & provide bank details for the additional booking fee of £200, which was taken 24 hours prior to our stay, as agreed. All perfectly understandable. I live in Chesterfield & was told I lived too close for them to honour the booking, even though travel time in a car is around 1 hour 30 minutes. The team cancelled my booking while I was on route for my stay, based on this policy. When I disputed this with them I was told it was due to issues from previous bookings with people who lived ‘nearby.’ After discussing my situation, the people I was travelling with & the nature of our stay, I mentioned that I am currently wheelchair bound & that I had chosen the property for its convenience & accessibility. On mentioning this, I was asked to send evidence or a photo, to prove my disability!!!!! This resulted in us having to stop at the side of the road in a lay-by, in order to take a photo! For this type of treatment to be allowed, is an absolute disgrace! However, following this, they then accepted the stay & sent access details. To add insult to injury, they took an additional £200 deposit payment after my stay. I phoned to dispute this & they apologised that it had been a mistake & would be refunded along with the other £200 which had been paid prior to our stay.
