The cancellation policy was a major issue for us. 2 weeks before our trip, we had something happen, and we were unable to bring 4 of our 6 kids with us on this trip. We wanted to cancel our trip, but the host will not refund for any reason if canceled within 2 weeks of your stay, so we went on the trip anyway so as to not lose hundreds of dollars. This apartment is not in the best part of town. It's close to a nice area, but it was still pretty sketchy. The neighbors below us blasted loud music and movies until well after midnight. We addressed it through the app, and the host was very responsive and said they sent security to try to find the noise, but it didn't stop. When it happened again on the second and third nights, we just accepted that this is how the neighbors are. This really isn't the fault of the host. It's just something for future renters to be aware of. This property is also a lot smaller than the pictures make it look. It's a pretty tiny apartment. We had 2 adults and 2 children and it was an ok size for us. We had originally planned to have 6 kids with us. The app says it can accommodate 8 people, but it would have been incredibly cramped. If you're looking for a place to stay with a large group, this may not be the best option. Getting into the apartment was also a pretty difficult process. There were detailed instructions, but it was quite complicated. There's also strict instructions to not speak to anyone who works in these apartments, or your stay will be immediately canceled. So, if you're lost or confused by the maze, you can't ask anyone for help. Our door code was also changed in the middle of our stay, which was strange from a safety standpoint.
