The Farmhouse Palm Tree Cabin

Absolutely nothing.

Where do I start... False advertising! A neglected cabin in the woods. The pics advertised must have been taken when everything was installed. The bed looked creepy, hot tub and kitchen looked yucky. Nothing looked close to the pictures advertised. Place looked worn out, dirty, dark and I wanted to leave immediately. Glamping?? I don't think so... I would have been cleaner and more comfortable in a tree. After looking for the hostess on the property, I eventually called her and told her that it was too rustic for me, informed her face to face that we are leaving and won't be back. She did not inform that I had to cancel on my side, yet could whatsapp me pics of the place and call me begging not to leave a bad review. She now refutes refund, says I'm lying and doesn't stop sending me messages via Booking.com messages. Still says that I had to cancel, even after asking her how to and if it would mean getting my money, she said it would not. Yet asked again the next day about me canceling for a refund!?!? I even had to block her on WhatsApp. Be careful of this hole in the wall accommodation and its ingenious owner! Booking.com has asked me to review my experience. I was duped and paid for it! She will probably continue lying after and about this review, but people need to know and be careful of this woman. Even Booking.com has asked her to pay me back and to settle this. She has refused. Cue the lies about to come from her...

Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very cozy, and the bed was comfortable. Not many places serve breakfast, so It was such a treat to be served a delicious breakfast cooked by Lorah each morning. The bathroom was located next to the room, and we had to go outside to get to it. The motion sensor light kept going off when we were in the shower, and we had to open the door and close it again to switch it back on. There wasn't enough light over the basin, so taking my contact lenses out at night was a problem. It would have been great to have had a mirror above the basin to make shaving in the morning easier. We really enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for money.

It was nice and quite and very private

No television and had to go to main house for WiFi

It was very easy to communicate with the host and they were very flexible about check-in times.
