Basement Flat, Regency Square

This basement flat was all we could have wished for. Excellent location. Tastefully furnished and comfortable. Little extras appreciated ie milk and goodies. Towels were plenty and fluffy. Exceptionally clean.

It's a beautiful flat in a great location. I even managed to get parking with my blue badge which felt like a Brighton miracle. Great communication with the host and the fancy biscuits was a great touch.

As a Midlander visiting Brighton I'm afraid I will never find Brighton good value for money. The flat would comfortably sleep two in the bed and one on the sofa but I'm not sure where a 4th person would sleep if they weren't a baby.

It was close to where we wanted to be.

Maserater was noisy...think its better for either 2 adults and 2 small children. Luckily was only 3 instead of 4 adults so sleeping on the sofa bed would have been difficult.

It's certainly an interesting, characterful place. Basement flats are almost always a little on the dark side and this was no exception. The decor was very much in the "Bohemian" style typical to Brighton and I imagine that the walls could have many tales to tell in this place. The place was clean, ideally located right next to the i360 and Regency square. The cafe on the corner provided excellent breakfast or you could make use of the cornflakes and milk provided by the hosts. Decent coffee machine and the Regency Tavern, within falling distance, was a great place to hang out in the evening or lunchtime (and similarly decorated).

Not really a complaint but you to need to make sure that you press firmly on the key pad - then it lights up, then you enter the code. It took me a little while to work it out. The hosts were helpful in sorting me out when I messaged to say I was struggling. By then I had sorted it anyway.

Nice little flat. Great location and facilities.

Not much soundproofing from floor above. Some screws across door thresholds need screwing down.

Good location, very clean and comfortable. Nice touches like tea, coffee etc plus proper milk in the fridge and biscuits. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this property.
