Alba View Apartments with Pool

Vanaf dakterrasje prachtig uitzicht over Alba en de heuvels. Het zwembad ligt mooi in de groene tuin. Het is een appartement boven een huis waarin een lieve familie woont die taarten voor ons bakte. Zwembad hadden wij voor onszelf!

De keuken is klein (2 pit inductie). We hadden bij aankomst wat kleine hygiëne opmerkingen. Uiteindelijk heerlijk weekje gehad. Elke dag paar keer trappen lopen is goed voor je beweging.

Geweldig groot appartement met prachtig uitzicht. Het hele appartement en terrein zijn erg goed onderhouden en verzorgd. Alles is fris en het zwembad is echt geweldig groot met heerlijk zacht water. De jacuzzi viel erg in de smaak van de kinderen. De host en haar familie zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en maakten dat wij ons gedurende de vijf nachten thuis voelden. Wij gaan zeker weer!!

Unfortunately, our stay at this holiday apartment did not meet expectations, as we encountered issues with indoor air quality, which we suspect may be due to mold. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed a strong and pervasive odor in the entrance area. Upon further inspection, we discovered a small utility or storage-like space behind a cupboard wall in the hallway, separated only by a thin wooden door. When we opened the door, we observed discoloration and dark patches on the walls and ceiling, which to us appeared consistent with possible mold growth. We also noticed aroma reeds placed in several rooms, which we assumed might be intended to mask the odor. Due to a previous mold issue in our own home, we are unfortunately very aware of the signs and potential health risks. For medical reasons, we cannot stay in environments where mold is present. We immediately contacted both the host and the local rental agent to explain our concerns. Their response was that "many homes in the area smell like this" and that we could simply keep the utility room door closed. We did not consider this a sufficient solution, as the air quality in the apartment remained affected. We also contacted Booking.com to find alternative accommodation. Shortly after, our reservation was marked as a “no-show” in the system, despite us having communicated our reason for leaving clearly to both the host and the platform. To be fair, the location, pool area, and general interior of the apartment were otherwise pleasant. However, the potential health risks unfortunately overshadowed those positive aspects. If you’re traveling with children, have allergies, or are sensitive to air quality issues, we recommend looking into this carefully or considering alternative options. The apartment was prepaid, and we lost the whole amount (except for a symbolic 5% refund from booking.com), because the owner wouldn't acknowledge the issues.

Eine top Unterkunft, speziell aufgeteilt, super für Familien. Klimatisiert. Gut ausgestattet. Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Sehr schön gelegen, man braucht aber ein Fahrrad oder Auto, da etwas abseits in den Hügeln.

Einziger Nachteil: Viele Treppen, aber etwas Bewegung im Urlaub schadet nicht 😀

We stayed at this amazing apartment for 7 days. The owners were very accommodating, any issues raised were resolved very quickly. The location was amazing and the pool was a great addition especially in the heatwave. The views from this apartment are phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Keeping in mind that there was a heatwave during our stay one of the rooms could have done with air con. There was a fan in each room then an air con unit in the living/kitchen area.
