Cavomarina Beach- Adults Only

We didn’t like that the housekeeping ignored the “do not disturb” sign on our door seeing as we were on vacation to rest. Banging on the door and barging in because we were sleeping and didn’t answer the door in time. Also our hot tub broke mid stay after paying for a premium room. Front desk attendant was very nice and friendly.

We stayed for a week in Kavomarina and we cannot recommend it more. We had a double room with a terrace looking at a small pool. The room was spacious and bright and the AC worked great. The food was amazing, loads of choice including local and international selections. The hotel is literally in front of the sea, and there are loads of sunbeds for the people staying in the hotel. I left for the end the staff and the managers. No compliment can do justice for their hospitality. Every single one of them from the hotel manager, the receptionists, the chefs and the waiters, the cleaning and the support staff did anything possible to keep all the guests happy. All in all, 5* is not enough to describe our experience. It meet our expectations and beyond.

Personalen skall ha en guldstjärna för sin önskan om att allt skulle vara bra! De jobbade på intensivt men hade alltid tid för att möta gästerna med glada korta samtal som gjorde att man kände sig uppskattad och familjär eller för att ge tips på bra saker att göra eller se. Kan speciellt nämna Isene i receptionen och Michel och Carlota i restaurangen! Så trevliga och gav verkligen allt för att vi skulle trivas!

The beach was very nice. Beautiful sandy beach and good sun loungers with parasols. There were various restaurants in the village - even if not all of them were good, at least you had a choice.

We were looking forward to a nice relaxing vacation at this hotel. The proud prices of the hotel promised many amenities. Far from it. The bathroom had a small open shower directly in front of the toilet. Accordingly, half the bathroom was flooded when you showered. The edges were also yellow and partly moldy. The breakfast was a horror - undefined cold cuts and cheese that looked very artificial. The coffee was watery and cheap. The juice was also not very tasty. We were glad that we had only booked with breakfast - we didn't want to have dinner there under any circumstances. The shower towels were never changed during the 5 days we were there. Not even when we put them on the floor. The towels were simply hung up again. Unacceptable.

We booked two double rooms for the three of us, but upon arrival we were greeted with the news that we had been lucky enough to be allocated the villa (please see photo). It was very spacious with two double bedrooms, a huge sitting-room, a very large bathroom and an additional, separate toilet and included our very own pool. We even had our own 'pets' - swallows nesting in the ceiling lights on the patio. Everybody at Cavomarina Beach was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help, especially Ines on Reception who was an absolute star and whose command of the English language was amazing. We originally booked just bed and breakfast, but were informed that for an additional 30 Euros per person we could upgrade to all-inclusive, which seemed like a very good deal and so it was. There was a good variety of dishes at each meal time, as well as snacks and, of course, drinks, in between. Every evening there was a different culinary theme, e.g. Corfu, Italian, Spanish, Asian, Greek etc. and there was always live entertainment. As the name suggests, Caromarina Beach has its own private sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds and even a few four-poster sunbeds, so there was really no need to bring out our 'inner German' and reserve them with beach towels first thing, although this obviously didn't deter some people! There was also a nice infinity pool and several of the rooms in the main hotel seemed to have access to additional pools. The Olive Spa was also a huge bonus.

We loved the family atmosphere and the welcoming of the staff that really makes this hotel a must do visit on my list This was our second visit and we were pleasantly welcomed I don't have enough words to describe how good and clean this hotel is The hotel manager was very attentive and professional It was nice to see they kept some of the staff from last year and added new staff a special thanks to Miguel and to the girls at reception they were superb We will definitely go back to this hotel when visiting Corfu again See you all soon Elsa Franco and family
