We have been to Anstruther before, actually stayed round the corner but we much preferred 2 Melville Terrace and would stay here again.

Slippy sofas could not sit on them without slipping down

Pictures do not do the apartment justice. The property is roomy, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. Decor is lovely and tasteful. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped, has a large dining table in it, and leads into the garden. WiFi speed is good, TV has numerous channels. The drying rack in the utility room is great. An air of calm lies within the property. It is peaceful, and we had difficulty getting up early, although that could be the sea air. It feels more like a home than holiday let. There is a large Co-Op 5 minutes away and lots of places to eat locally or within a 10-minute drive. The apartment is ideally situated for the Fife Coast and whole region. Owners left milk, biscuits, tea bags, coffee, and the coffee pods were a welcome touch.

Check out time is before 10 am, which is far too early. 11 am would be more acceptable, considering we had to strip the beds prior to leaving, and we could not enter until 4 pm on the day of arrival. Suggest you bring slippers for inside because we take our shoes off at the door and our feet were black from the floors. Washing the floors would help. Fridge does not cool adequately, and the milk turned to cheese very quickly.

The location was perfect, close to amenities and the waterfront. The property is beautiful. Spacious but still cosy. It had everything you would need for a stay.

Having to decide which of us got the room with the en suite! :-)

Everything that we can think of had been supplied, only small thing we could not find a tea pot. All rooms were clean an very tastefully furnished and heating was easy to control.

This is not a complaint but a suggestion to owner. The freezer in the kitchen was running most of the time and badly in need of defrosting. Everything else was faultless.
