Lake Como is always busy during summertime and getting a place in the heart of the major towns like Verenna, Melagio and Belagio can be really very expensive. An alternate is find a place in near by town which I really recommend if wish to experience the real side of lake Commo. So we decided to stay in a town which is short 10 mins drive from Varenna, I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel apartment in Lake Como, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. The apartment itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, blending modern amenities with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable living area made it easy to feel at home, and the private balcony offered breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Waking up to such a stunning panorama each morning was truly a highlight of our trip. One of the standout features of this accommodation was its perfect location. Nestled in a quiet, scenic area, it provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close 10 mins drive to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Overall, our stay at this Lake Como hotel apartment was nothing short of exceptional. It provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. Great location - beautiful spot. Very comfortable apartment, just a short walk away from local town which I'm sure in summer season will be buzzing.

Quite steep stairs to climb to the bedroom, not suitable for some people. Nothing to do with apartment, but the town was very quiet, not many places open. It was February, so sort of fair enough, but there were a lot of tourists around and just not enough places to eat.

Great location, good facilities. Car park a real bonus.

Close to restaurants and ferry. Easy to locate. It had a lovely view, even in the rain.
