Manchester - Terraced Cottage

The cottage felt warming and perfect for us as we are a small family and there was plenty of space for our 5 year to play and also for us to relax. There was a local shop at the end of the road and a park that we did use.

Chose as a long term solution as a family to visit my daughter whilst at Uni. Fab reviews so thought yes. OMG its taken me this long to come to terms with our filthy stay and the smell. Clearly a leak so should not have been bookable for our stay soaking wet landing. FULL of dog hair. House was in need of a deep clean, muddy boot prints. No blind in single room and door hanging off its hinges. Arrived to all windows and back door open to obviously help with the smell. Mouldy bread in cupboards and dog treats everywhere. Just to top it the bedding was used pictures show stains and hair. After a 4 hr drive to see my daughter after 6 mths was not what I wanted. I chose the sofa bed but when I came to make it there was only a duvet in a bag in the cleaning cupboard under stairs and no actual bedding so I slept in my coat for 2 nights!!!!! Really devastated as could have been the perfect stay which I would of booked as my 2nd home for the next 3 years. Owner needs a new cleaner. lots of photos if bookings lows me to upload!!!

Lovely modern clean house with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Plenty on street parking available

Can’t fault it for the price.

Great amenities, host was incredibly responsive and displayed all instructions carefully. Had everything we needed for our weekend away and was a comfortable home.

Only struggle was figuring out how to pull out the sofa bed, which we were unable to do so. Regarding location, through no fault of the host, my car was keyed outside the property on two panels which is a shame. However this is just due to the location it is in.
