Sands of Kahana Vacation Club

The outside facilities, beach, restaurant, pools and hot tubs were great. The staff were very friendly. The suite was very spacious for our needs. There were 6 adults and 2 children.

I feel the suite was a dated. I did have to dust my lampshade and the wall behind my bed. There was a couple of maintenance issues but they were addressed quickly. We did find a roach in the kitchen. They came right away and sprayed. We didn't see anything after that in the suite. I will say normally that would deter me from staying again. I have a phobia with them. Butttt I feel that happens and I would DEFINITELY stay here again. The good far outweigh the couple of issues.

Location is right on the beach, view of the ocean from the bslcony, spacious apartments, everything was clean, apartment had everything we needed, including washer/dryer, everything was just great!

The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, the grounds were well kept, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful!! We loved everything about this place!! We hope to come back!!

We had two cockroaches and our oven never worked...but, we LOVED our accommodations regardless!!

We did not have breakfast, but we did order food from Captain Jacks, the restaurant on site and it was very very good.

I came to the Sands using two different reservations. I tried multiple times to get help prior to my arrival to ask that we be allowed to stay in the same room. I will be more careful when I book next time to pursue any special requests I have. Once we were at the resort, everyone was very helpful, but communication prior to confirm special needs prior to arrival is difficult.

Nice clean units. Be aware they don't have AC, but were comfortable at night. Beach is just Okay. Captain Jacks had great food

Beach was not great for young kids.
