CRUn lugar muy tranquilo buena ubicación si buscas solo relajarte y estar alejado.
GBThis accommodation is a quite different and adventurous proposition. Accessible only by water taxi, set in a line of houses on stilts which form a small community of families living in both modern and make-shift accommodation. Expect to be immersed in that community - there is a hum and chatter, which we got used to quickly as it became background noise. Our apartment was the upstairs one. A single and very large room with a partitioned bathroom. There was a double bed and a double bunk bed. The kitchen was well equipped (very good fridge-freezer and gas cooker). The views of the water were panoramic through windows looking west, north and east. The balcony was a great place to chill day and night, with both a small sofa and a hammock. We loved dipping into the lifestyle it offered. On one of the three days we were there, we didn't use the water taxi, and just stayed around the apartment and watched the world go by. No aircon, but not needed as there were 6 ceiling fans.
At times you may feel isolated (perhaps a good thing?) - to get from the house to the island you will need to call a water taxi (the local firms use WhatsApp, conversing in English is probably OK, in Spanish will be easier). It is a 10 minute ride around a peninsula, and a bumpy ride if the water is choppy. You will need to bring all your provisions with you except water, which is supplied to the apartment via filtered rainwater collection. Access to the property is via a quay alongside the owner's house which is next door. Access to the water for swimming is from that quay too, and is only practical using a SUP paddle board (given the height of the quay above the water), which the owner lent to us.
USIt is a great house, it is not far from the little town and it has great view
Nothing really
