Old Town South Gate Apartment

Location is perfect, just inside the walls and close to everything. Kettle, fridge and hairdryer were a bonus!

Only thing was the drain smell in the bathroom

Room is new but all equipment in the toilet is broken, Some days the water doesn't flow in the toilet

Perfect location, the apartment was exactly how we wanted, had everything we needed, grateful for the host for all the help and how they made our stay more easier.

All good except the bed, it’s make noises everytime you make a move in and out of bed.

The location of the apartment was very easy to find and it is in a beautiful place in the old town. Very close to markets, restaurants and etc. We never saw the owner of the aparment, but she/he always took care of us by text or phone. The size of the house is quite good, it was not a problem for us but you need to know that you have to go up 2 floors with your suitcases. The decoration of the house was also very modern, it had all the materials we needed and it was very clean.

The apartment is very modern and finished in good taste. It’s located at the top floor which is only accessible by stairs, but this is normal for old town kotor. It was clean and comfortable… just what you need for a night stay. Location is set next to the gate of kotor so perfect if u need to go to the bus station. Overall a good stay!

It is located on top of a pub, so there is loud music till around 12:30/1am. Expected but worth noting. Shower mixer was broken, but still managed.

I found this single room studio apartment very spacious; bright - having a skylight in addition to widows at each end; nicely furnished and thankfully uncluttered, having just what is needed for comfortable living. I couldn’t find any instructions for the tv, air conditioning or coffee maker – not that I needed, or wanted to use any of those. The location is good and very easy to find, just inside the Gurdic (south) Gate. As with EVERY other apartment (or hotel) within the Old Town, noise from bars can be expected during the season The bathroom is compact but everything you need is there and it has two openable small windows. It would have been much easier if the bathroom door opened outwards and not inwards. Two sets of towels are laid out with a further two sets provided within the (spacious) wardrobe. Renovation work is ongoing on the first floor at the entrance into the building but does not present any problems whatsoever. Interaction with the hosts was easy, instructions how to get in are clear, though I found the key-locker fiddly, and I was allowed to leave my cases after my early arrival until the apartment had been prepared. A lovely girl on a motorcycle arrived to take payment at an agreed time. Obviously, I knew when I booked that plenty of stairs would be involved getting to the top floor but these were not as difficult as I feared (I am nearly 71 years old) – just awkward with winding corners. The bottom step when descending catches you out, being a greater height. You get used to it so again, no problem. My rating would actually be 9.5, with half a point knocked off for the bathroom door and I would certainly consider this apartment, if available, for my next visit to Kotor.

Perfect location. Right next to the South Gate and live in the scenic area, you can get everything within a few steps. The apartment is quite large and new. The landlord team's service was very timely and enthusiastic, and perfectly solved all our problems

hot water is not enough. After one person takes a shower, the other person has to wait for a while before getting hot water.
