The location was really beautiful. With a spectacular view. The host is super friendly and he has the best recommendations for diner/hikes/ highlights etc. We highly recommend this place!

A fabulous place to stay with kids

Everything was wonderful. Owners were most hospitable. The houses were clean and beautifully designed. Property was well maintained with great amenities. We had dinner at the restaurant and were served a delicious meal. It was the perfect get away to enjoy Slovenia.

A great base for exploring Slovenia with our rental car, and also just for relaxing, enjoying the magnificent views and the wonderful sauna. Everything in our little hut was practical, comfortable and beautiful. The owner Jaka is extremely kind and helpful - he helped us with adding some extra baby proofing to our hut (we stayed with a 1 year old), and served us delicious food sourced locally from their farm. We would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!

I have been to Slovenia many times over the last number of years but I have never stayed anywhere like this. What an incredible place. The views of the rolling mountains and forests are simply breathtaking, you could spend hours just looking at the horizon. If you want to be surrounded by nature and stay in eco friendly accommodation then this is for you. The sheer wealth of bird life is astounding. I spent many hours just wandering around the property birdwatching. There are some fantastic hikes and Jaka is very knowledgeable about the local hikes and will share locations of hikes and attractions only locals would know. Jaka and his family are wonderfully accommodating and friendly. The food was the star of the show and quite simply some of the best I've had in a long time, all produce is local or grown on their farm. To sit at breakfast and watch the views is the highlight. There is a lovely little playground, a natural pool and loads to do for little ones. For a business up and running for less than a year their hospitality was flawless. We will be back for many years to come.

It’s a perfect retreat. This was the last stop of our holiday so we thought we’d treat ourselves (three-year-old son in tow) and we’re so glad we did. The view from the mezzanine is quite simply stunning and the site is wonderfully peaceful. Jaka and his family are wonderful hosts and cooked us delicious breakfasts and dinners every day, which was welcome both to ease our weary bodies and because of how remote the site is. Even so, it still only took us an hour to get back to the airport.

We had a wonderful stay here! Jaka is an excellent host, very attentive to details, and truly goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience for guests. The place is beautifully designed, and you can tell it’s new and well-maintained. The sauna is a great addition—perfect for relaxation—and the breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. I highly recommend Zarja Glamping and would definitely return
