Hôtel LAKASBAH Ait Ben Haddou

The room was spacious. The manager/receptionist is nice.

Not a good value. It is a big hotel with an alienated feeling. I would not choose this place again.

The hotel is perfectly located about five minutes from the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou by foot. You can easily pass the dried out river to visit the famous old town. The pool is huge and the view from the pool of the Kasbah is very beautiful.

The man at the reception desk who gave us our room key was nice, but he didn’t tell us anything about the place. We had to ask for the way to the pool, when and where breakfast was and we weren’t offered any dinner after arrival. Our room was big, but very dark with a small window, there was dust and sand everywhere (we spent two nights in a desert camp a few days later and there was less sand in our tent than in this room) and on the shower wall was blond hair from one of the guests before.

Location and a really great breakfast included, on terrace with beautiful view.

Room had thin curtain only, bright by 6am and bed was way too hard for me, like a table. Didn't sleep well sadly.

The hotel and restaurant staff were superb and hospitable. They did everything possible to make us feel perfect.
