This cottage is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have restored it with a great attention to detail. Everything is done with quality and class. Located by the river Dee, close to the river walk and close to sites in the city. There is no better place to stay in Chester.

It is a little bit tricky to find and parking is scarce. But the hosts will do everything they can to guide you there.

This wonderful cottage has been curated with imagination, and love. Attention to detail and artistic details at every turn. High end fixtures and fittings and very comfortable. We ate in every night as it was so comfortable. Lovely location close to the scenic river. Great hosts were on site to greet us and show us round. Lovely welcome hamper was very thoughtful, thankyou, would definitely recommend

The property was exceptionally clean. Not a speck of dust anywhere. All of the furnishings were of the highest quality, particularly the bedding and towels. The location was excellent, almost on the river and a short walk into the centre of town, made magical by the Christmas market and shopping. Everything you could possibly need for your comfort was provided. Will enjoy visiting another time during the summer.

"Fantastic break in Chester and the property was in a great place."

Location was fantastic, beautiful scenery and 5 min walk to the centre. Lovely hamper when you arrive and the kitchen was immaculate and very well equipped. Bathrooms are very modern and have everything you need. House is of a very high standard through out.

Seating area upstairs was a bit cramped and no where to put anything down like a cup of tea. There is a lot of ornaments and decorations which while give the property a period feel did make it feel cluttered and oppressive. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable for us.
